LitWatch subscription terms
By subscribing to LitWatch, you ("subscriber") agree to the following terms:
- Terms of Subscription:
- LitWatch sells news, opinion, analysis, and information on a subscription
basis, subject to these subscription terms.
- All sales are final. There are no refunds, returns,
or exchanges.
- LitWatch reserves the right to cancel a subscription at any
time, without cause. You agree that all use is subject to our current terms of use, which are incorporated into this agreement.
- All monthly subscriptions must be paid in full, in advance.
Your credit card will be charged monthly several days before the next term for the then-current
subscription price of your plan. This will be a recurring monthly
credit card charge until you terminate your subscription, following the
procedure described below.
- Subscription rates and terms are subject to change for
implementation in the next subscription period.
- Individual subscriptions are for a single user. Contact LitWatch Sales for information about multiple users and other features.
- Termination of Subscription:
- Subscribers may cancel their subscription
at any time, but current subscription payments, including advance payments, are non-refundable.
- To terminate your subscription, contact LitWatch in writing to the
address shown below or by email to LitWatch@LitWatch.com
at least five days before the end of the current subscription period.
- Service:
- LitWatch is not responsible for service interruptions and
technical problems. LitWatch does not provide technical support, e.g.,
for
customers' computer systems and internet service problems. Subscribers are responsible for monitoring and managing
their account activity, passwords, user(s), renewals, remaining downloads/retrievals, alerts, portfolio, and the like.
- Access to LitWatch headlines and news items is delayed for some subscription plans.
- LitWatch products are sold without any guarantee or express
or implied warranty, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness.
LitWatch products are sold "as is."
- LitWatch provides news, opinion, and analysis which it
believes to be accurate. LitWatch cannot guarantee the accuracy or
completeness of any story. LitWatch attempts to correct and update
stories whenever reasonably possible. LitWatch liability is limited to
a refund of the current month's subscription.
- LitWatch does not recommend the purchase or sale of any
stock -- contact your financial advisor or stock broker for advice. LitWatch
personnel may have a financial interest in companies about which LitWatch
reports.
- LitWatch Content:
- Subscribers understand and agree that all LitWatch products are
copyrighted, with all rights reserved. Subscribers are prohibited from downloading, transferring,
copying, publishing, sharing, displaying, emailing, posting, forwarding, transmitting, printing, storing, or the like except for their own individual and
immediate use in accordance with this agreement and consistent with
copyright law restrictions. Subscribers may not share
or transfer a subscription, password, or LitWatch content and products. Individual subscriptions are for the use of one and only one person. LitWatch content may not be
copied, by any means, nor incorporated into anyone else's database,
web-site, or library. Subscribers may not sell, reuse, or make LitWatch materials
available on their own site or in any other form.
- LitWatch, LitNews, and LitBase are federally registered trademarks of LitWatch.
- These terms apply to all subscriptions between subscriber
and LitWatch, including past or future subscriptions, and these terms carry
over if the subscription is renewed, upgraded, etc. Limitations on use and
copying continue even after termination of subscription.
There Are No Refunds
You should print a copy of these terms for future reference.
If you have read, understand and agree to the LitWatch terms of use and subscription agreement, email LitWatch your name, address, firm name, and phone number
and LitWatch will contact you to establish your subscription. For recurring credit card charges, this constitutes your
written request for LitWatch content.
